An Introduction.

Warm greetings and a genuine welcome to my website. My name is Holly LeMaster and I created Genuine Enterprises in 2001 as a vehicle through which to collaborate on meaningful—authentic, genuine—work with people I enjoy and with whom I share an affinity. Since 1984 I’ve served as a consultant, coach, and facilitator.

I have a gift for synthesis and connectivity—I can observe the parts, understand what's required to turn them into a whole, and create a plan to make it happen. I'm adept at both lofty, idealistic visioning as well as rolling up my sleeves to get things done in a practical way. I believe that mutually beneficial relationships are key and that people must be seen, valued, inspired, and included if we are to achieve collective success. I enjoy helping people and teams learn to discover gifts, find gratitude, and tell stories they like. And people often seem inclined to open up and share themselves with me.

Once upon a long time ago, I attended Drake University on a journalism scholarship but it turns out that wasn't really my thing. Then, rather suddenly, I found myself on an airplane with a briefcase in a suit headed for a meeting in a hospital boardroom. I had been pointed in my direction, far from a career in journalism (although writing remains an important aspect of my work.)

Prior to launching Genuine Enterprises, I was the Director of Client Services and a member of the Executive Committee for Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, Inc. I also served as Vice President of Horizon Health Systems, Inc.—specializing in ambulatory surgery development and management—and performed a mélange of other assignments, as well.

From 2017 through 2022, I set Genuine Enterprises aside to become a fulltime member of the team at Innovative Connections, a sister consulting firm of kindred spirits with whom I share deeply held values and philosophies. Through the lens of organizational and leadership development, we partnered with clients in a variety of industries across the country as well as close to home in Colorado. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we quickly pivoted to delivering our services in creative, impactful ways over the internet, providing forums for people to pause for connection, wellbeing, and growth.

I am a life-long learner dedicated to the pursuit of ever becoming a better human being. A devotee of the arts—of all kinds—I am committed to seeing and creating beauty everywhere. I don't believe it is actually possible, or even desirable, to separate our work from our personal lives—it is all interdependent and each dynamic affects everything else. The things we do and the choices we make affect and impact the people and the world around us, just as we are impacted by others and by the world. How could it be otherwise? Rather than striving for “balance,” I believe we need to seek better ways of integrating, prioritizing, and staying present with what’s in front of us.

In the summer of 2022 I was ordained as an Interspiritual/Interfaith minister by the OneSpirit Interfaith Seminary. My ministerial training connects me even more deeply to my personal mission: to help people (and organizations!) become more of who they really are. Seminary taught me to see the depth of unity among all human beings, cultures, and faith traditions, and to simultaneously honor and embrace the gifts of our diversity. I am now uniquely positioned to help bridge the sacred and the secular—to help organizations and individuals explore what brings depth and meaning to their lives, whether or not they approach it through the lens of religion or spirituality. If you're interested, there's more at Genuine Celebrations.

If something here speaks to you, feels in alignment with your vision and worldview, let's connect and explore how we might collaborate or how I might be of service.
